The Jacksonville Bulls were one of six expansion teams that joined the in that league's second season. They were coached by future Packers head coach Lindy Infante with the legendary Georgia and Falcons broadcaster Larry Munson serving as the team's play-by-play voice. Despite never having a winning record, the Bulls had great fan support leading to a planned long term future. Although the league folded after the Bulls' second season, their loyal fanbase is often credited for opening the door for the expansion Jaguars less than 10 years later.
