The Las Vegas Posse played one season in the Canadian league and were coached by Ron Meyer. Future super star Anthony Calvillo, as well as legends, Shonte Peoples, Tamarick Vanover, Jon Volpe, and Greg Battle were Posse alumni. Still, attendance lagged. At one point singer Jimmy Buffet attempted to buy the team and move it to Jackson, MS.
